For lovers

I’d recommend this arid landscape for lovers. It’s a place for a bottle of wine, picnic basket, candles (on days when it’s not so windy) and contemplating the sky full of stars to the gentle rhythm of the surf.

You can’t miss it

If you go to Menorca, you can’t forget to visit Punta Nati, located only a few kilometers from Ciutadella and possessing some of the best views of the north of the island.

I’d recommend going at sunset and enjoying one of the most spectacular light shows on the island. Prepare a picnic basket and enjoy. You can’t miss it!

It’s a worthwhile route

The trail to the Punta Nati Lighthouse is relatively short (8km) but very tough if you’re doing it on foot. You 100% must bring water. The Tramontana’s effect on clouds has turned this whole area into a desert.
Now, there are only rocks and the occasional flock of sheep. The prize, though, is at the end and makes the trek worthwhile.

The cliffs are impressive and it’s a very recommendable place to watch the sunset.

Spectacular

The Lighthouse of Punta Nati is popular area for those in a romantic mood.

It’s a spectacular place to contemplate the push and pull of land and sea. The high cliffs are just incredible. It’s also a great place to watch the sunset.

The landscape of dry stone

Punta Nati is solitude, arid, almost desert. At least that is what it seems at first sight, when we ATRS Ciutadella and turn away from the paths trodden by tourists ms. The road, indirect, winding up then becomes a straight line that leads to a rocky headland where a solitary and inaccessible lighthouse stands. L little more I can say. That s, by the way both sides can see the extraas but curious dry stone constructions which give shelter to cattle in the days of cold and bad weather. Barraques and ponts, eastern aspect with its superposed floors, raised with a masterful technique without mortar or cement, using a master autodidcta centuries of antiquity. More than the lighthouse, what stands out are these buildings, which complement the routes talayticas of Minorca, less centuries, of course, but almost as interesting. Endless stone walls that surround and define huge dry meadows where cattle graze, quiet and sealizadas routes for cyclists and joggers, a clean, clear air and especially the view of an infinite Mediterranean caressing and punishes the island giving it form and life.

Picnic with sea views

Nice place to get a sandwich and eat overlooking the endless ocean. Cliffs with military shelters where one can hover and make out if the enemies come. They say also well worth watching the sunrise

Experienced runners.

Ideal for experienced runners. 18 Kms round trip from the center of Ciutadella and Punta Nati. The round, very hard, constantly growing. The Return, a pleasure. For the very brave you can return from Punta Nati to Ciutadella for Horse Riding Track, a trail that runs along the coast of the island. In this section the firm is very uneven and rocky. WATER essential to wear.

Corredores experimentados.

Imprescindible llevar AGUA.

Nice place and stoned .... wild. with...

Nice place and stoned .... Wild. With a lighthouse at the end of the road. Own place to watch the sunsets.

Bonito lugar.... Salvaje y empedrado.
