Quinta de San Juan

This large and beautiful restaurant for thousands of people is located a couple of miles from the center of Viana do Castelo, in a quiet and very popular area with the Portuguese, especially for the celebration of events, such as weddings, baptisms, etc. Actually it is also known as Camelo restaurant although not one but several rooms are decorated with great taste and it has parking, in a quiet environment surrounded by manicured gardens and a tent for large events. Such is the refinement as they would say in the year 1995, as I recall was the Spanish political veteran D. Manuel Fraga Iribarne, a famous writer and Portuguese, from which hangs a pair of plates in one of the lounges.
