The Republic of Texas Museum helps to preserve and promote Texas History. It maintains the physical structures of these historical places and artifacts of the Republic of Texas era. The public can see and touch the way our ancestors lived in Poplar, French legation, Gaines Oliphant House and Museum of the Republic of Texas.
