Rice Paddies

When I was on the bus from Mysore to Srirangapatna, my attention was drawn to the numerous rice fields in the surrounding area. When I got to my destination, and a local man approached me to be my guide, I asked him to take me to the nearest rice paddy to the village. Luckily for me, it wasn't far, we only had to cross the river using the same bridge as the trains (he assured me that we had plenty of time to pass before a train came.
