Remembering my wedding anniversary in Chancay, Lima, Peru

My husband and I decided to go to my homeland, Peru, in order to celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary. There were many options to choose from so we decided to go somewhere close to Lima and with lots of nature to see. We decided on the "Castle of Chancay resort" - Huaral Province, Lima, Peru. I want to share a little about the history of this castle. Historical Review: The Castle of Chancay is a medieval-style monumental work built on a rocky cliff, owned by the Amat family and Leòn Boggio, descendants of Viceroy Manuel Amat and Junet. The Castle of Chancay is located north of Lima (The Capital of Peru) and you can reach it after an hour's drive. In the last few years tourism has been encouraged in this area. Inside the castle you can visit the hunting museum, see photos from the era, collection of hats form the time. You can also sample wines, enjoy the sun, air, sea breeze and the charm of this place. From one of the towers you can see the vastness of the Pacific Ocean and there's also the Chilean frigate "La Covadonga" which sunk in 1889. Visiting it was really amazing.
