An ascent up the Cathedral stairway, with a view of Etna

The Duomo or Cathedral of Monreale is the main attraction of this tiny village that sits on a hill by Palermo, 8 km., which overlooks the city and the coast facing the Tyrrhenian Sea .... it is really one of those monuments that will leave you speechless, as well as the amazing Byzantine mosaics in the inside, you can, climb to its rooftops for the price of 2 € ...You must go to one end of the nave, and inside, you will see a table with a man who will charge you. The climb is initiated by a spiral staircase ... Through a pair of metal walkways and corridors (watch your head if you are tall) is vaulted stone, it covers a good part of this cathedral, from the heights.
