Gothic jewel

The Gothic jewel Sainte Capelle stands out for its stained glass windows and is considered by some to be the greatest example of occidental architecture in the world. For the devotee, it's like a door to heaven. It has 15 windows separated by columns rising up to 15 feet to the stars-adorned ceiling. The windows reveal over a thousand religious scenes in a kaleidoscope of red, gold, green, blue and mauve colors. The Chapel is attached to the main building of the Palace of Justice, and there is usually quite a long queue to get in. General admission is € 8 but it's worth it. There are many price reductions that you can find on the website.
