1 review of Royal Garrison Church

Ruined, but worth a visit

The Royal Garrison Church was built in about 1212 by Peter des Roches, bishop of Winchester, as part of a complex of buildings which served as a hostel for pilgrims and a hospital for the sick and elderly, later to become a munitions depot. Today the nave is in ruins.
