It will not disappoint

The Royal Theater of Madrid (also called "El Real") is the Opera of Madrid, the most important in the country, together with the one in Barcelona. From the outside, it is an imposing building, fitting perfectly in the Plaza de Oriente, just in front of the Royal Palace. But from the inside it is one of the places that will leave you flabbergasted, especially after seeing the auditorium itself. It is a huge and luxurious room, which does not leave anyone disappointed.

There are several ways of visiting it. The most common, is, of course, attending one of the shows. There are prices for all budgets, from almost 200€ that can cost the seats in the first line or in the central box, until 15€ we paid yesterday night for ones with limited visibility. You can buy the tickets on the theater's web page, even though the good ones are usually sold out very fast. You can also visit the theater from the inside thanks to the tours, which are quite cheap (between 2€ and 4€ for the visit).

Go to the opera!

The Royal Theater and the beautiful Plaza de Oriente is one of the essential sights in Madrid. Apart from observing the imposing facade it is worth checking the program, since it is also possible to see to a dress rehearsal. In my case, I was lucky enough that a friend worked there and I could enjoy an Opera by Wagner in a box. I can assure you, it is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen and the best theater display without a doubt (and I work in theater...)

It is really worth paying for the entrance and enjoy this beautiful building, observing the royal box and the amazing depth of the stage, the stage house, the very elaborated staging offered there. For those who have never been to the Opera, I recommend going to an Italian one, lighter and funnier but not necessarily less spectacular.

The Opera is now accessible to all thanks to group discounts and final rehearsal days. Do not miss the opportunity to go! You will not forget it.

Very impressive when viewed from the ...

Very impressive when viewed from the outside, the Teatro Real (also called Opera) Madrid is just as much inside! It is quite possible to visit, and I would say it is recommended! Because the term is not impressive too! Huge stage, and huge room, which can accommodate thousands of spectators for each performance! Located just in front of the Palacio Real, glued to the Opera metro station, this monument is also part of unconditional see when you go to Madrid! Enjoy!

Bonne visite !

Palace of the opera madrid.

A walk through the historic center of Madrid, should include a visit to the Plaza de Isabel II and the Opera House, facing the palace and Plaza de Oriente. Inside is interesting to visit and learn about programs events held during the season of opera and concerts, to attend if interested, can azquirirse entry there. In the surrounding area are the gardens of the East, sometimes "vintage acclimated" to film making, as well as taverns and bars with very elegant decorations and great choice of tapas and meals.

Do you like first?

Of course, it is not to be compared with the most famous theaters like the Phoenix, but the Teeatro Real Madrid for a moment makes you .. feel important. Often the works that are represented here are a bit 'expensive for your wallet, but often it is also worth! If, however, choose the highest part of the Fr can get away with little .. During the break, enjoy a toast with a glass of cava will get you back on track!

Strategically located in the historic heart of the city, facing the majestic Royal Palace Madrid, Madrid Opera, called Teatro Real is one of the main important monuments of the city. It is indeed impressive not only because of its size and beautiful proportions, but also for its style, it dates from the mid-nineteenth century (it was inaugurated in 1850). It is now one of the main venues of the city and the country, and annually hosts extremely famous musicians and orchestras.

The Royal Theatre and Opera Madrid is located opposite the Palais Royal, in the heart of Madrid. There ballets, concerts and plays, almost every day, so if you want to soak up the Spanish culture and change a little film you can get tickets for one of the shows. It is a beautiful theater then places are expensive, they can go from 80 to more than 300 €.

This is the most famous theater in Madrid, on the Place de l'Opera. The best performances, the best operas come to life in this building. However it also hosts performances for schools and houses the famous Arturo Cantoblanco restaurant group. There is also a gift shop and guided tours for tourists.
