Saint Aignan Church

Since everything was built of wood in that time, everything was burnt. Thus, this magnificent church, founded in the year 400, had to be rebuilt in the 16th century. Its original interior with its colourful paintings on the columns and arches, as well as its spectacular roof, attract a lot of attention. There is also a magnificent old organ and antique stained glass windows. This, together with the church of Saint Pierre, is well worth a visit on the cathedral tour.
