2 reviews of Salina Bay

A fascinating site

Saint Paul's Bay (in Maltese "St. Paul's Bay") is a town that you'll find located in northeastern Malta, located sixteen kilometers from the capital, Valletta. Its name refers to the shipwreck of St. Paul (St. Paul) during his journey to Rome, as was written in the Bible.

It is for this reason that the Maltese believe it was St. Paul who laid the foundations of Christianity on the island. The area as a whole (some towns that form it include: Qawra, Bugibba and Xemxija) has an area of 14.47 km ².

Although the site itself is in a rather touristy area (with lots of bars and such) there are some natural touches like this bay, which give it a special touch.
