Sanctuary of the Saleta

The Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette is a few kilometers from Silleda in the province of Pontevedra via the road to the cemetery. The chapel is old but it is also famous in the village for the pilgrimage that takes place every year in September. As is customary in Galicia, the cemetery is situated around the church, usually the cemeteries are small like the granaries at the top. Once seen as there is nothing to do but wander around in the grass which is quite nice and you can get here by a the path of Saleta.
