The Plaça de Sant Just is a small square typical of old Barcelona, a place that has been preserved through the centuries to the fate of the inhabitants of the district. It is located behind the building of the Government, and on the square find the church of the same name, a cafe, and a beautiful fountain. When you're on the square, like you're in the past. No cars, almost no noise, it is total relaxation, as few people visit, compared with La Rambla and Plaça Reial. Sant Just also was a cemetery where the first Christian martyrs buried in the city. This part was destroyed to build houses in the Middle Ages. The source is Gothic, and is on the side of the street from the Palma. It was built in 1367 and still works yet. It has been renovated since the fourteenth century, but still has a representation of Sant Just, and the shields of the city. Moix Palau is in the square too.

Place saint just is a typical small s...

Place Saint Just is a typical small square of old Barcelona, a place that has been preserved through the centuries, to the delight of residents. It is located behind the building of the Generalitat, the regional council, and the place is the church of the same name, a café, and a beautiful fountain. When you're on the site, it starts in the past. No cars, there is almost no noise, it's completely quiet and relaxing, because few people bother to visit, preferring the big places like the Plaza or Plaza reial Jaume I. Sant Just was also a cemetery, one of the first Christian martyrs of the city, but it was razed in the Middle Ages in order to build houses. The fountain is in the Gothic style and is located next to the street from La Palma. It was built in 1367 and is still running today. It has been renovated since the fourteenth century, but there is always an image of Saint Just, and the arms of the city. Palau Moix is also on site.
