Santa Catarina Viewpoint

This viewpoint, consisting of a platform just below the Fort of Santa Catarina, offers stunning views of the ocean, the beach of Rocha and Portimao Marina. From here there is also a good view of Fort San Juan de Arade (located just across the river in Ferragudo). This is the perfect location to watch the sun go down.
