The monastery path
It's a part of the so-called route of the monasteries. It's located in Simat de la Velladigna, in Valencia, close to Alcira. The route is made up of three monasteries: Santa María (this one), the Murta (located in a town of the same name, close to Alcira), and Aigues Vives (the third). It's not a bad idea going for a cheap excursion while staying close to Valencia. Entrance is free in each of the monasteries. This one can be seen fairly quickly, while the others take more time. La Murta is nice for being in a natural enclave.
