South street seaport

When you are in New York, you must go to this place. From here, you will see magnificent views of the Brooklyn Bridge, several restaurants where you can eat at an affordable price. Facing South Street Seaport (across the road) you find a pedestrian street with the Abercrimbie & Fitch store in NY. The advantage of this store is that it is not as crowded as the Fifth Avenue store, so it's more comfortable in choosing what to buy. From South Street Seaport you can walk to Zone 0 and the Brooklyn Bridge.

The best place in manhattan to enjoy ...

The best place in Manhattan to enjoy the views of the Brooklyn Bridge is the South Street Seaport. This is a small port, also known as Pier 17 (Pier 17), in which there is a shopping and entertainment center, with shops and, above all, bars and restaurants. This makes Pier 17 in one of the more animated the evening of Manhattan. At Pier 17, as well as enjoying leisure time (there is great entertainment in bars in the evening, during the time of "happy hour" with the pints of beer at half price) and the views of the iconic Harbour Bridge also can have good views of the Brooklyn neighborhood. Stores like 'Abercrombie Fitch', 'Gap', 'Guess', 'J.Crew', 'United Colors of Benetton', 'Ann Taylor', 'Coach', 'Express' and 'Talbots'. Craft shops abound: 'Brookstone', 'Bonsai Designs',' Godiva Chocolatier'y 'Waxology'. But there is also a shop in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in all art pictures. With respect to children are the "Cartoon World 'or' EB Games'. The day I visited the exhibition housed" the bodies. "Can take a ride on the boat Clipper. Ye also stop nearly all tourist buses , CitySights, etc.. Do not miss the experience of visiting NY with my blog NYpass

Tiendas como ‘Abercrombie Fitch’, ‘Gap’, ‘Guess’, ‘J.Crew’, ‘United Colors of Benetton’, ‘Ann Taylor’, ‘Coach’, ‘Express’ y ‘Talbots’.

Located in the heart of downtown manh...

Located in the heart of Downtown Manhattan, East of the famous Chinatown and just south of the famous Brooklyn Bridge, south street seaport is a nice area that we enjoyed during our discovery of the big apple. I must say it is a port (which includes the ports numbers from about 14 to the port 17), hosting huge sailing ships offering cruises on the East River to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, as well as shops, restaurants and a pretty nice mall. A nice step not to be missed.

View of the bridge

Pier 17: is the writing that stands on one of the great buildings of this pier, and that has made it one of the most famous, because you can see very well from the Brooklyn Bridge. And vice versa: from here you can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the bridge, illuminated at night. For this reason the pier is full of restaurants where you can enjoy the city but away from the chaos. Apparently it is also planning a radical restructuring of the entire area, where perhaps will be opened shopping centers with shops of big brands. We'll see!

Staremo a vedere!

South street sea port

South of the peninsula famous Manhattan This port of old sailing ships with as background scenery and the buildings panorama as the Brooklyn Bridge. This rather unusual place between land and sea is really impressive, one side of the wooden boats moored and behind the towering office buildings and modern! It was at times feel that there is no port and the three masts are inked in the ground ...

South street sea port

Pier 17

Nothing better than eating in the area of Pier 17 after all Seventh walk down from Hyde Park. The views of the Brooklyn Bridge from here without spectacular, if the day comes, of course, and just a few meters away you can start the walk to cross the bridge on foot. From the wharf itself out many bus tours that travel throughout the city. It is the most touristic city but certainly worth it.

Pier 17

New york, our city

A lovely place to stroll and shop is the Pier 17, Old Port renovated, but the view from the beach of Brooklyn are even better.

New york, nuestra ciudad

If you want to take a break from Manhattan without leaving the island! Recommended lie on a lounger on the terrace and watching enraptured Brooklyn Bridge without forgetting that behind skyscrapers look after you! Amazing, unforgettable, indescribable!

Nueva york

Increible, inolvidable, indescriptible!

The south street seaport in manhattan...

The South Street Seaport in Manhattan, is the mall that I prefer. The environment is beautiful, with two large boats that can be visited, the views are incredible, you can see the Brooklyn Bridge sitting in a comfortable chair. The supply of food is important, you can find all the food you want. Personally, I had a chicken teriyaki. There are all kinds of souvenir shops, electronics, clothing, etc ...

It was after a hard day of sightseein...

It was after a hard day of sightseeing around the city of New York that we decided to get closer to the bay west to rest a bit and see the Brooklyn Bridge. We were surprised to find this place, located outside the big city, in a fishing village. The atmosphere was jovial, fun and we had the opportunity to enjoy the place, with a slight breeze that helped withstand the scorching heat of the day. We bought ice cream, we sat on the wooden stairs and enjoyed a beautiful view.

Almost at the foot of the brooklyn br...

Almost at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, a little further south, on the shores of Manhattan, is "born" between skyscrapers and tall buildings on Wall Street, a small village with the appearance of a fishing port . It is a place away from the bustle of the main avenues. Everything is reassuring and we enter an area of low houses with posters and old cobblestones. The streets are perfect to relax and get away. Just next door is the South Street Seaport where there is a small shopping center. This is one of the best places to have a drink on the terrace looking at the Brooklyn Bridge. If instead it is cold, there is nothing better than a hot chocolate in the cafeteria which is right at the entrance of the port. From here you can watch the sunset with the Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers in the background.

The port of new york was very importa...

The Port of New York was very important in American history since the seventeenth century. This is one of the largest ports in the world. It is amazing to walk on that port, where many films were shot, and see ships approaching the dock. Already in the nineteenth century, immigrants from around the world, including the Irish and the Germans, arrived in this port before settling in the country was, for them, full of promise.
