1 review of St. David's Lighthouse

A Piece of History..and a Great View!

The St. David's Lighthouse on St. David's Island in Bermuda was built in 1879 and it is a national landmark. The lighthouse is unique because it is built from Bermuda's own cedar trees which are now rarely found on the island. Be sure to climb up the 85 steps to the top around the spiral staircase and you will be rewarded with incredible 360 degree views from the top of the whole region. From here, you can see the unique white rooftops of the houses and the deep blue sparkling ocean. It is one of the highest spots throughout the island.
The lighthouse is open to the public from May to September, closing during the winter months.
