The church of san pedro is located on...

The church of San Pedro is located on the square of Santa Teresa, also called the Mercado Grande Place, opposite the beginning of the famous walls of Avila. This is one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in the city, whose construction began in 1100, in the same style as the Basilica of San Vicente. The large rosette of Cistercian style of the main facade is a beautiful illustration of this novel art. Hours: Monday to Sunday from 10am to 12:30 and 18:30 to 20h. Price: Free admission.
