Fantastic railway system
One of the most common ways of getting to the capital city is by train, due to Switzerland's fantastic railway system. Bern's main station is located in the historical center of the city. In fact, it's on Marcado St., the main artery of downtown, and within a 15-minute walk, you can be on the other side of town and have seen all the most historic areas.
