The temple of the fish.
Wat Laem is located in the northwest of the island of Ko Samui, before the Great Buddha. This temple is very colourful, with numerous figures of gods. It is built around a large lake that contains fish. From a distance it looks more like a park than a temple, because of the intense colours of all the buildings and figures. The views from the lake are truly magnificent, and taking a walk here offers you the chance to do something a bit different from the usual sun and sand.
