Statue of St. Francis of Assisi

This statue in commemorating the death of St. Francis of Assisi is located in a small square under the staircase that leads to the Cagliari Cathedral of St. Mary of Cagliari. The saint is much admired in Cagliari and Sardinia in general. I really like this photo, with the cathedral in the background. All in all, it's a quiet corner to sit and breathe in the tranquility of the Castelo neighborhood.
