Stirling Address

1 review of Stirling District

Great natural beauty

Stirling is one of the 32 administrative districts of Scotland and is north of Glagow. Its population of 85,000 is mostly concentrated in cities like Stirling and Dublane, the rest of the population is rural. The region has great natural beauty with several lakes and mountain ranges dominating the landscape. Among them are the Trossachs, a mountain range national park, and Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Scotland. There are many places to see depending on how much time you have. If you are short on time, go straight to Loch Lomond and maybe to do some hiking in the Campsie Fells, another chain of very nice hills that are easily accessible from Glasgow.
