Sumaq Hotel

This is the only 5-star hotel in the village of Aguas Calientes. From here, there are buses which depart for Machu Picchu. The hotel is only 20 minutes from the sanctuary, located at the end of the village with lovely views of the mountains and the Urubamba River. At night, they have to close the terrace because teh noise from the river is impressive! The hotel is decorated in the traditional Inca style. The hotel has a lovely staff of receptionists, waiters, porters, and even the manager. The hotel also holds Peruvian cooking courses in case you're interested.
