Gay pride festival in Sydney

The Mardi Gras is the gay pride festival in Sydney, and has been held since 1978, when hundreds of homosexuals marched through the city streets to protest against discriminatory laws and police abuses, and coincided with the famous protest by gay rights Stonewall in New York. The celebrations usually last about a month, with all kinds of events such as plays, parades, concerts. The most important is the parade, like Madrid, with floats and other means of transport such as motorbikes.
