An easier hike for a better view

The Tetons are fantastic, but in many cases it's prettier to step away and look at them than it is to hike up one and look down. This hike has probably the best view of the Tetons, and when in season features an epic three-mile alpine wildflower walk to capture your attention when you are bored of looking at the Grand. There are two routes up Table Mountain -- North Fork of the Teton and "The Face" -- an unsigned and un-maintained trail which is not an official path yet receives heavy use. The Face is super steep but half the distance of the North Fork -- you decide! The North Fork Trail winds through a pretty canyon and over streams and through avalanche debris before reaching timberline and making the final steep push to the summit.
