Taizé

The Taizé Community is a meeting place for anyone who wants to spend a few days, or however long you want, in a privileged environment of nature and spirituality. The community of monks of Taizé was founded by Brother Roger during World War II. Using the small chapel of the village as a hospital for German and French wounded, he provided a new perspective on the understanding of loving one another. Through unconditional respect for the individual's personal beliefs, the philosophy of Taizé prioritizes the most important thing: we are all men and as such we can find common bonds. With the passage of time the community grew and has become a focal point for the convergence of religions and beliefs.
