The strength of the sea

Spectacular landscape, where you can observe the strength of the sea, over the magma that has become stone…

The waves and its strength allow the water to climb up to the surface, taking advantage of the holes and cavities of the rock. The result is spectacular: the water emerges from the rocks as if the water was boiling (“hervir” in Spanish is “to boil”).

You will not regret it

This is another typical place in Lanzarote, but not less important, in the area of Los Hervideros. It is an interesting place, where the water gets lost between caves, with the Timanfaya in the background, impressive, creating incredible images.

It is a must stop, since it is found in an area that closes one of the most interesting triangles of the area, next to El Golfo and Las Salinas. You have to go there and enjoy.

Great natural beauty

A landscape of great natural beauty created by the rocks of the Lanzarote coast, which take advantage of the tide, creating a wonderful spectacle, similar to water boiling (“hervir” in Spanish means “to boil”), this is why this place is called Los Hervideros.

Los Hervideros is located near the small town or the lagoon of El Golfo, a few kilometers away, and a must stop for the traveler, same as the Timanfaya National Park, also known as Montañas de Fuego. We mustn’t forget that the Salinas de Janubio is also nearby, traditional activity to obtain salt, and it forms a nice multicolor panel.

Los Hervideros is one of those meeting places where you can find more tourists; we even met some other Gallegos and took pictures with them. Besides the contrast of the landscape, used to fertile and green lands, this place is undoubtedly beautiful, and therefore it is a journey you must not miss when you are in Lanzarote, since it is near Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza.

The spectacle of Los Hervideros is the result of the waves against the magma that reached the coast and transformed into solid rock, this is why it is called Los Hervideros, since it seems as if the water was boiling. Take advantage of this excursion to visit the popular Charco de los Clicos, which used to be a green lagoon, and El Golfo, a marine town where you can eat or just relax while admiring the spectacular contrast of landscapes of the area.

Little more to add to this site as vi...

Little more to add to this site as visited and commented. To say that is spectacular with the only drawback that it costs to make a landscape photo without someone appears in it as the influx of buses to this place is massive and if you wait too long you run the risk that you do at night because Here the sun sets around 6 or 6:30 pm. It is located in the (LZ 3) between Tahosin and Gulf. I recommend this place if you are in the area because the contrast of the blue sea with the black stone of the hotbeds is spectacular. A greeting.

The lava caves

Pecorrendo the road that leads to El Golfo La Hoya, halfway between Charco de los Clicos and salt Janubio, is Los Hervideros, or go through some caves by the sea. It is a fragment of coast cliff: the splits and galleries (true underground volcanic tubes), across the sea penetrates violence suddenly emerging with mountains of white foam, were formed by the cooling and solidification of lava. A must-see, and because the caves are very impressive both for the landscape that stands behind the caves and occupying the entire coastal area: lava fields as far as the eye can see. Sorprendende a show of nature.

Los Hervideros (the "bubbling springs") are hollow labyrinthine cavits by sea in the lava from the sea, the site is located south of the Timanfaya National Park between the salt Janubio and the village of El Golfo. In a chaotic world of lava ptrifies, the ocean plunges noisily in a small bay at the bottom of which there are two caves spares votes by natural pillar. Some small trails run the place and a staircase allows accder a balcony with breathtaking view of the elements dchans. An impressive sight. Furthermore, the view to the Montaa Bermeja, Pico Redondo volcanoes and other colors rougetres situs north is superb. To enjoy the site, there is ample parking, and access is free!

Ms boil, bubbling!

The name Hervideros confuses you, because at first you think it will be a place where the water due to volcanic activity, boils, and indeed the effect of foam water like steam is caused by the impact of waves, especially at high tide on the acantilidados volcanic hole filled and fissures through which water is poured under pressure. A place where you marvel at the spectacular power of nature

Curious spot

Those who live in areas without beach as may be Madrid, we usually admire more than usual the places bathed in the sea. Whenever I travel to one of the fortunate islands empollarme well I like their lesser-known places to visit as they are usually much nicer than typical coming in large letters on the guides. But when I traveled to Lanzarote called me a lot of attention in large letters reading "The Hevideros". The curiosity that could find did not see many photos to amaze even try. Hervideros are besieged near Salinas Janubio and The Gulf. This is a wonderful all-natural volcanic landscape, where underwater caves were created with small and large holes that makes water out for them when smitten. This phenomenon occurred when fused lava and sea creating this kind of "Hard Boiled" amid the tranquility of Lanzarote. This place has a mix of curious and unusual, which makes it one of the most visited on the island. Although it comes in bold and big in the guides, it is not a more turistada is "mandatory" lost a little bit of beach to visit this place on the edge of the cliffs. It is also free and safe to leave you some beautiful images, both in your mind and in your camera. Greetings

Curioso paraje

Pure nature

A place worth visiting, where the sea at its wildest breaking against the cliffs and caves intrudes by fascinating the people with a great show of nature, after having been lucky enough to travel very different environments, this has been one of the places that most caught my attention, perhaps because of the contrast of rough and rocky landscape, buffeted by the waters so clear, and very close by, also stunning black sand beaches ..... indeed a place worth visiting.

Cliffs magicos

Hervideros is the name by which he is known in the coastal area where you can see the violent beating of the waves on the passages that formed in the path of the lava into the sea. When the sea is rough it leverages the lava holes and rises to the surface as if it were boiling water. It takes its name from when the sea boiled because of volcanoes, is a spectacle

Acantilados magicos

Impressive spectacle

The place is indescribable, everything is washed volcanic reaching the sea and has formed these cliffs that the ocean seems to want to break into pieces with its constant waves. The contrast between the black of the rocks and the blue sea is impressive. A place you can not miss, despite the number of people and coaches encontrs you.

Great views and environment

The hot springs are one of the main attractions of Lanzarote, caves formed on the basis of wear caused by the force of water. The hot springs themselves are worth to be seen, but should not be allowed to see the environment in which it is located, the sea on one side, and on the other, the reddish color of Lanzarote with mountains on the horizon. A fantastic view to savor slowly.

Abyss

Among lava thousands of years, volcanoes and raging sea, form in the area known as the curious formations Swarms and beautiful couple. Caves, holes that have formed because of erosion thousands of years and how to devise the lava when the island was formed by the eruption of volcanoes. Through a path very well conditioned, we are able to peer in and photograph this place. The number of these caves is abundant and even children can enjoy it safely.

Abismos

Spectacular

Almost by chance and in the last moment of our visit to Lanzarote, we remember q remained to be seen Hervideros. It is easy to reach through the road signs. And once again, on arrival we were impressed and surprised as Csar Manrique gets to make the best of nature without the most minimal impact on the landscape. Expectation see and imagine how the rivers of lava reached the coast and as the sea eroded and modeled the lava! Awesome!

Espectacular

Impresionante!

Yes, but ...

A natural curiosity and an experience in itself (the cave before the dates Last worth the detour alone), even though several points can spoil the visit - the visit is done with a guide speaking only English and Spanish. Those intressent the history of places will go their way! - Only the Last cavity really deserves the visit (yes, but experience: while it is expected "once again" be below a hole in the rock, a pebble jet allows us to account it is actually an underground pond: the reflection is stunning !!! L, more is expected when returning an ultra quiet water, to admire this incredible reflection) - a visit at 9 per adult our visit in June 2015, making it the Lanzarote site less attractive from a viewpoint relative interest Site / Price - last thing: highly dconseille visit if like me, you do it with children in low age ( 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 years): totally impractical stroller, and often wear with delicate passages where the height is sometimes infrieure 1.30 meter.
