The Highland Games

If you go to Scotland during spring or summer, I recommend that you make it a priority to watch the Highland Games. They're a kind of Olympic games, spread across 60 Scottish cities and towns. The games feature strength tests and other competitions and Celtic music and dance, with traditional costumes. The most famous one is held in Dunoon, a coastal town near Glasgow.
