Kharola Glacier

The landscape of Tibet did not stop amazing us over and over, after being absorbed in the contemplation of the beauty of Lake Yamzhog Yumcog thought that nothing could surprise me in the short distance that separated us from the village of Gyantse. Just a few miles from that lake, at the foot of the mountain pass named Kharo The (Kharola), stood a big silhouette of a glacier. We are approximately 5500 meters high and there is a magical landscape surrounding us, ocher and green colors of the huge peaks that surround us in contrast with the whiteness and bluish slopes of the peak on which the ice slides.
