The Lady of Elche

The Lady of Elche is one of the most universally recognized and celebrated works of Iberian art. It is a bust made of sandstone from local mines that still has traces of paint when it was discovered. It measures 56 centimeters high and was found in La Alcudia although it is currently housed in the National Archeological Museum in Madrid.
