The Laguna de Nogales

This natural place is said to be supplied with snowmelt from the peak of Orizaba or from the Citlaltépetl volcano, the highest peak of Mexico. It's supplied through underground rivers, so the water is very cold, but it's pure and clear. You can just feel its freshness. You can bring your lunch or eat at one of the places serving the region's typical cuisine, which is very affordable. It's a tour de force of nature in the region. Enjoy.
