It's no big deal

My Madaba not like, care little church and the mosaic is available to anyone who wants to tread and very little protection. If you go with a package I would skip this tour and of course the typical store.

The city of madaba is located about 4...

The city of Madaba is located about 40 km from Amman, and is known as the city of mosaics (there is also a school of mosaic), thanks to an impressive mosaic dating back to the sixth century found in the soil of the Orthodox Church of St. George, in the north-west of the city. The present church dates from 1896 and was built on the ruins of the front, from the Byzantine period and from which originates the mosaic. It is made of stone and consists of two million units occupying a total area of 94 square meters, while today it retains only a small part of what was the original mosaic. Its shows a map of the Holy Land from Babylon to Egypt and from the Arabian desert to the Mediterranean Sea. Particularly noteworthy are the size and importance, the map, the city of Jerusalem. Other mosaics have been found in the churches of this city.
