The Mercy Walk

This shaped Parkway Boulevard was opened in the early twentieth century to join the Sanctuary of Mercy to the historic center of Canet de Mar. Several small notable buildings can be found from the beginning of the walk, which eventually leads to the top of a small hill, the Sanctuary. Some of these buildings are modernists such as Can Carbonell, a typical summer estate from the late nineteenth century, and other eclectic styles common in homes of Indians.
