good place for lunch
The Old Star is a pub on the side of St James Park, when heading in the direction of Buckingham Palace. It's a bit hidden in a neighbourhood with offices and a few homes. So the crowd is usually people who work nearby, and a few tourists. It's a good place to eat at midday after visiting Buckingham, it has interesting offers at a reasonable price. But at night there is not much of a crowd. The beers are around 3.50 pounds and dishes don't exceed 15 pounds. It is one of the few places to eat in the area.
