12 thermal baths and 3 outdoor pools

Excellent

The thermal baths in Budapest are an institution and a must visit for anyone travelling to the city. For its geological situation, 30,000 cubic meters of mineral water between 21-76 ° C rises up out of about 120 springs which makes it an important thermal center. The Széchenyi Medicinal Bath are at the north end of City Park. It has a 12 thermal baths and 3 outdoor pools, its bright and clean and the water temperature are up to 38 º C. It's open to men and women, even in winter, when I visited, in mid-December. Bath outdoors in -8 ° C while it snows in a warm water pool is an experience not to forget.

Greatest Budapest Baths

No need for an introduction. These are the greatest baths in town. Try to avoid the crowds although they feature 22 different pools and saunas so most likely it will be possible to find a spot and just relax! Refurbished 2 years ago, it can`t go any better if you are surrounded by snow ;)

Old school bath house

Once you step into the Szechenyi baths, you will be greeted by helpful employees ve recommend certain packages for the baths. Pick the one that you like, and head in for a relaxing soak! This bath is very famous, so expect it to be crowded.

Relax

Excellent

No chance of going to Budapest without visiting this amazing place where relaxing and having fun is the priority. The outside pools are amazing to try during winter, and the building itself has an outstanding architecture to admire!

Avoid weekends

Excellent

Lovely bath with great value, tons of pools with different temperatures, saunas are also quite alright. Place is very touristic, so recommended to go there quite early or late in the evening.
