Tignes

Tignes is located in the French Alps in the countryside. There is plenty to do with skiing, downhill biking, and more .. You can visit year round. I generally come for skiing in the summer because the glacier means that the snow there lasts all year. It is a great area for enjoying downhill biking too With jumps and marked trails. You ascend by cable car or chairlift. So clearly it is a place for both summer and winter.
