Tower of the Moreno

This incredibly rare tower stands in Ribadeo, Lugo. It is very sleek and modern and was built between 1917 and 1915 by brothers Juan and Pedro Moreno and Ulloa, following the designs of famed Argentine architect Julian Garcia Nuñez, a disciple of Antonio Gaudi. At that time, the tower of the Moreno aroused the admiration of residents and visitors. This was not just because it was such a sophisticated work, but also as an innovate proposal to be constructed of concrete, glass and wrought iron.
