After a long journey in the Puerto Viejo de Algorta, what’s left of my legs takes me to a magnificent place: the Usategi Park.

This is what is special about Getxo: its endless coast allows you to walk and walk while its contrasts keep surprising you.

Usategi Park is a peaceful corner from where you can contemplate privileged views. The area is very calm, and the reward is the pretty white railed viewpoint that lets you enjoy the fresh breeze of the ria and the images of the Abra.

Moreover, there is another viewpoint that satisfies the palate and thirst, since Café Usategi can be found on one side of the park. It is priceless to sit in its terrace to enjoy the view of Puerto Viejo de Algorta.

From this viewpoint there is a broad panoramic of the mouth of Nervion River, and of all the Abra Bay with its port and the municipalities and with the Mount Serantes as a watchtower.

At the foot of the cliffs and coasts the beaches follow into the open sea with attractive landscapes in the middle of a permanent green carpet, always green thanks to its marvelous climate, its forests full of beech trees, chestnuts, oaks and pine trees, making the place a beautiful spectacle.
