Magnificent for the city

A few years ago, the city of Valencia achieved a milestone: To be the home of a Formula 1 spectacle. Most interesting is that it became the second street circuit after Monte Carlo. Thus, for a week, the streets of this eastern city become a place where cars speed over 200 km / h where the drivers, all their equipment and the hundreds of celebrities that follow this circus parade their little toys around the city.

Indeed, for the city it is magnificent. For the spectacle too. I was fortunate enough to see it live from a great vantage point and the truth is that it’s something very special.

Seeing the GP from pit road

The Grand Prix of Europe has been held in Valencia over the last several years. It first happened in June of 2010, but since has taken place in August. Last year, I was lucky enough to see the race from the heart of the track, that's right, from the sacred place known as the pit!

The location in unbeatable, as they’ve incorporated the ancient Valencian gates into the track’s deign. In just a few days they transformed the city for the race and there, in the pit, is where the engineers and drivers prepared themselves and the car for the race.
