Valtera Restorans

It's located on a quiet street, in the old area of Riga center. It's contemporary Latvian cuisine, as it states, the menu isn't too long, but it is good quality. The highlights are lamb, venison, some fish (that night was trout), all with good beer, and local wines that the waiter said were quite sweet. It has a fairly simple decor. In short: not crowded, good food, friendly, and reasonably priced.
