Viewpoint Monte Faro

Once again we get to to this vantage point but this time to the top, since the last time we just got up to the Monte Faro Recreation area accessed immediately outside the Portuguese town Valença Monçao. We took the road on the right (signposted) and a rise of about 6 miles and we are on the lookout with incredible views of the valley of the Miño. At the summit of this mountain is in a state of neglect an old lighthouse surrounded by all kinds of antennas telecommunications and a little below there is a large place for recreation and leisure with fountains, picnic areas, trees, a chapel, a restaurant and a view of the Portuguese town on the river Miño.
