Vila Nova de Gaia

I visited Oporto the night of San Juan (June 24, 2011). I never imagined that a city could move me in such a way. It turned out to be full of people, crowded places, music, bonfires in the streets, the smell of grilled sardines, wine and happiness. I do not know how Oporto is on other dates but I must admit that on the night of San Juan, Porto is wonderful and full of life! The vantage point of Vila Nova de Gaia is fantastic because there is peace and calm there. I have a lovely view of the river Douro and the city as the sun went down that will be in my memory and heart forever!
