Piazza Vittorio Veneto

Victor Emmanuel I decided to build this extension on the axis of the Pio Street. In 1825, the king approved a proposal by the architect G Frizzi to install arches at the ends of the square. Sidewalks and more followed, connecting the old buildings with more recent constructions.
