A very nice way to admire the beauty ...

A very nice way to admire the beauty of Prague from the Vltava River. The river is wide and flowing, even more than the Elbe, which allows many local cruise lines cater to the thousands of visitors to this beautiful city. There are a lot of options, either day or night, the walk along the river is also a fun activity that allows you to know the bridges, buildings and facades that make Prague a very attractive city. The Prague Vltava River crosses from north to south and the best place to take the tour on cruises is located very close to Charles IV Bridge, which connects the old town with the new town and is a very important tourist spot. From the cruise, you can admire the beautiful architecture, great Gothic influence such as the Cathedral of St. Vitus, which viewed from the river is wonderful. We may also discover Renaissance facades and some other modernist styles and art noevu. Across the city you can see the green areas that serve as parks where families, and especially children, enjoy the weekend. From inside the cruise, or for the outside, this ride is really lovely.

A walk along the vltava ii

We descended the hill and suddenly Vysehrad, we met again with the Vltava. The first segment is governed by several piers and ducks and swans at that time sent on the water, waiting for a few crumbs from the hands of humans. The Masarykovo nabrezi looks amazing series of art nouveau facades. At No. 32, of greenish color, was the former East German embassy. In the 16's the Coral Hlahol house, built in 1906 by Josef Fanta for a patriotic choral society associated with the Czech Revival. It is adorned with elaborate musical motifs and crowned by a huge mosaic portraying the Music, the lower currency says "Let the song reaches the heart, let the heart reaches the homeland" .... A little later we found a water tower s. XV and stuck to it Manes functionalist building, one of the best contemporary art galleries in Prague. On the left the river and right the constructive genius of man ...

Vlatva

The Ro Vltava, or Vltava in Czech, is the river that crosses the city. All where you go, the Jewish Quarter, Old Town, Lesser Town, New Town ... the water accompanies you. You can make cruises on the river, and are not very expensive. Thanks to this river, many bridges were built in the city, including the Charles Bridge, the most beautiful and famous of Prague. It is interesting how they appear in small islands along the river, which acompaan on their way through the city. I recommend going to the banks of the river near the Charles Bridge on the side of the Old City; the views of the bridge and castle illuminated at night literally leave you without breath.

Vlatva

It's worth, to walk on the banks of the Vltava River, which is through the city center of Prague river. You will then have a quick overview of the main monuments of the city. Thus, you can walk along the water on a footpath, then you will see the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge and St. Castle Vysehrad.N do not hesitate to stop for a drink on a terrace and let soak up the sun. From the St. Charles Bridge, then take the small tunnel on your right you will see a breakthrough on the water. The many small bars and restaurants.

The largest river in the czech republ...

The largest river in the Czech Republic, Vltava river divides the city in two Prague including cutting the castle district of Prague (Mala Strana) of the Old Town. Many bridges crossing like the famous Charles Bridge. It is very pleasant to walk or take a coffee on the shore side of the old town (more animated than the other) and admire the picturesque landscape with the river in front of the hill where the castle in the background throne.

Vltava through a large portion of the...

Vltava through a large portion of the Czech capital, it is a fact. That said, rather than seeing it from above, it is possible to approach very closely, on the docks and other places where old historic Milos Forman made his great Amadeus. These platforms, it is possible to take boats to sail along the banks of the Vltava River, passing under bridges and discover the facades while more soaking in the history of the capital. It is also on these platforms signs of restoration of the friendliest we found.

An almost magical environment

Praha has a large number of bridges, but apart from Charles Bridge, no one outside the house dancing, which has a special charm by gifting a view of the entire city from below, including Prague Castle, a charming restaurant , with an almost magical, and surrounded by swans, quite socialized, a place so picturesque ... Of those who seem to only look at the films of Woody Allen, because there really anywhere in this wonderful country.

The river vltava

The Vltava (unpronounceable name if you are not Czech) is the famous river that runs through Prague. If the source is located in the forest of Bohemia, Prague is a great place to enjoy it, either by looking simply from the Charles Bridge, if not by such a pedalo on its calm waters in some places.

Pedalo on the vltava

Definitely recommend the experience. We spent an hour great. It was our alternative to a boat tour convinced us not at all. The price is not bad (200 Kč) and you can bring food or drink to pass the time. We went late in the afternoon and conditions were great. I recommend the bridge area of the legion because there boats can not pass. I hope you enjoy it as much as us!
