Xaloc Resort

The Xaloc Resort is a small hotel that can be found on Holbox beach. It's made up of individual cottages that sleep 2-4 people. When you get to this place you'll realize how friendly the service here really is. The manager told me that the owner was Juan Felix, a Mallorcan architect on this small island with white sand, a place to forget the noise, pollution and bustle of the city. The place is ideal for getting lost, and from May to September is whale shark season, which is when everyone on the island tries to swim with whale sharks. During the same season, you can spot manta rays that are bigger than the boat, and with a little luck the captain of the boat will let you swim with them.
