Yann Arthus Bertrand exhibition

This is an outdoor exhibition of beautiful photos by the French photographer Yann Arthus Bertrand. Dozens of his photographs were installed in front of Oxford Castle between September 2008 and February 2009. It seems like a strange place to display these photos of the world, but in fact the historical and modern blended well together, and the event attracted many people. The exhibition traveled to Paris as well, where it was installed on the outer gates of the Luxembourg Gardens. All the photos were taken by helicopter, looking down over deserts, rivers, housing, and people.
