The Hotel Attica 21 is in a secluded area of La Coruna. In October 2010 I spent a weekend in this hotel for a wedding and was very satisfied with the stay as it has all the comforts of its class (4 stars) and everything is very new and in good condition. The wedding banquet was held at the hotel and I must say the food was excellent and plentiful, all highly decorated and well served. The waiters were very friendly. As for the room, it was furnished with modern style in oil colors and wenge. The bathroom was spacious and had a bath with half screen. The only bad thing was that it was far from the center.
This hotel is in a provincial capital, next to a beach with no more than 30 people in August, green areas, for sports or fishing, ancient monuments within a 5 minute walk, while just another 5 minutes from the centre. That can only be achieved in the city of Corunna. I feel like a VIP.
The Hesperia Coruña hotel has the good service we expect from luxury hotels and I had a very satisfactory experience except for three small details: room 506 has a cup stuck to the sink forcing you into an awkward position, it smells a bit musty, and the selection of newspapers available in the lobby is very poor.
I spent a weekend at this hotel during the summer, and was delighted with it. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, in an office area near the hospitals. However, there are several streets with cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, so finding somewhere to have a drink isn't a problem. To get to the centre, you'll need to drive, or go by bus or taxi (you can catch either of these just steps from the hotel). It is modern, and everything is clean and new. The bathroom was sparkling clean, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. As for breakfast, there is enough variety and everything is very good. Moreover, it's continually replenished. There were several types of cut fruit, sausages, pastries, freshly made omelette ... in terms of drinks, there were different types of tea on offer, coffee and hot chocolate. Service was great. Highly recommended.
I lived in La Coruna for ten years and know the Melia Maria Pita hotel well. When I got married, we had the wedding feast at this hotel and also hotel management invited us to spend a couple of nights in the honeymoon suite. It was truly great. No complaints, on the contrary, nothing but praise for all the hotel staff. And of course, it has wonderful views of the bay including the beaches of Matadero, Orzan and Riazor. Beyond Riazor stadium there is a building of very cool glass engineering work, which contrasts with the Tower of Hercules across the bay.
In one of the busiest streets of La Coruna, Nest is a one star hotel but is spotless, and offers unbeatable prices, since you are less than 50 m from the beach and the single room costs about 30 € with breakfast included. At the weekend it can get noisy so ask for a room on the top floors.
The Riazor Hotel is in a privileged location in the promenade of La Coruña, opposite the beach of Riazor. It has single, double, triple and quadruple rooms available. All are fully equipped with private bathroom, heating, wireless internet, television, mini-bar and safe. Children between the ages of 10-12 sharing bed stay for free. The facilities and services offered by the hotel include dry cleaning, ironing service, car rental, laundry service, restaurant and bar, elevator, room service and 24 hour reception. The hotel's location allows guests easy access to tourist areas like the Riazor Stadium, City Hall and the beautiful gardens of Méndez Nuñez.
Zenit Coruña is a good hotel in a very quiet area with plenty of things to do nearby without having to take the car a lot. The staff are polite and friendly. Proof that simplicity, good taste and kindness are the keys to hotel success.
It's ideal for those that move in the world of internet and social networks have even very personalized treatment. On youtube some clients even post their opinions. It is a multipurpose space where you can work and sleep at the same time. It's close to the campus, the Coliseum, Trade Fair and the new shopping center in Coruña. The Gym is just next to the hotel.
NH has 28 newly built apartments. It includes a lounge, bathroom as a double or triple. Also the rooms have an electric kitchen with basic utensils. Room service is also available, as well as Internet (wireless system), telephone, and fax. Located at the site of Pocomaco, a few meters from the city center, and 5 kilometers from the beach. Near the exhibition center and the university campus. Free Shuttle to Marineda City shopping center for customers (Friday and Saturday only). WARNING: they do not accept American Express.
My husband, our dog and I stayed at Casa Berdeal last summer. It's a beautiful house with cozy, rustic decor that serves a great homemade breakfast. The only catch is that you can hear everything in the rooms - but otherwise, it's highly recommended. The owners really make you feel at home.
This hostel was recommended for young people who like to travel and see places, but don't have a lot of money. It is located in central La Coruña, close to the beach, the harbor, the party area, and local attractions such as the aquarium ... Etc. There is a 24-hour doorman and the rooms are nice, a good quality : price ratio. We were very happy to stay here.
Hotel Sol is a small, absolutely spectacular hotel in La Coruña. You won't need to bring the car, as it's close enough to walk everywhere. The room is spacious, with LCD TV, bathroom and more. It's a five-star hotel, and the quality is better than the price: we stayed for 3 nights for 150 euros.
An excellent location - in the centre, but close to the beach - with very clean rooms and competitive prices (30 euros per night for a double room with a bath!). The staff are friendly and helpful. Who could ask for more? Recommended for anyone visiting the city.
We stayed at Casa Ceferinos on last night in Galicia because it was close to a few places we wanted to visit. It's simple but comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. Our room was clean and spacious, and in the morning we had a full sweet and savory breakfast with fresh orange juice. They have a space to leave your car locked up at night that you can access with a remote control. Will definitely return, and we recommend this cottage.
