This amazing hotel can be found in the centre of Málaga. It has a stunning terrace on the 15th floor where you see the whole city (including the cathedral) and the port.
You can dine in the restaurant, take a dip in the pool or enjoy a cocktail.
Located on Mount Gibralfaro, surrounded by pine trees and next to the Alcazaba, this is a great location to enjoy the bay and the city. There's a great summer dining terrace, offering dinner with a view, and a small rooftop pool.
I confess that my first impression upon arrival at the Parador de Nerja wasn't very good. Being used to beautiful, historic buildings, this one - with its dated 60s architecture - didn't exactly knock me off my feet. But entering changed everything. The service is friendly and warm, and the facilities are great quality. We had a large room with a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with two sinks, tub and shower, and plenty of amenities (wifi, minibar, safe, etc).
And the best part of this hotel isn't on the front, but at the back - there's an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large green area dotted with sunloungers, where you can relax and enjoy the best sunrises of the Costa del Sol (of course, you can also do it from the terrace of your room!). And if you want to go to the beach? Well, just take the elevator and within seconds you'll find yourself on the famous Burriana Beach, famous for its sardines and paella. What about the breakfast? Well, there's great quality and variety, and there's really nothing like sitting on your terrace with a coffee, enjoying a little bit of January sun secure in the knowledge that they'll be shivering back home!
The hotel, located in the heart of Golden Mile is to the left of the beach, close to the historical center and the most popular promenade of Marbella. I love the huge pool and gardens and one of my favorite places of the hotel is the terrace on the sea: the Cappuccino, with jazz, lounge and music day and night, plus free wireless interent. The hotel has its own sun chairs on the beach, but once you see the pool, you won't even want to go to the beach. It's one of the most famous hotels in the Costa del Sol and this is due in large part to its excellent service, comfortable rooms and its facilities.
One of the best options in Benalmadena! The Best Benalmadena hotel belongs to the hotel chain Best Hotels and is a great 4 star hotel in front of the sea. It usually offers good deals, last summer they offered half board and full board deals. The rooms were very spacious. It opened in May 2003 and stills looks like new. In our case we had a room with a balcony that was overlooking the sea. We booked half board as during day we like to go to the beach or discover new places without having to return to our hotel to eat.
I'm not just talking about the event I went to at the weekend and since I arrived at the hotel everyone was kind and great facilities. Upon arrival they didn't offer a toast with champagne, neither do we see as the most normal thing in the world. but we liked the idea. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Although I did unplug things for the mac and mobile. In the morning breakfast was varied and rich. And the room was suitable, although sometimes the wifi was too slow. And the attention for twitter @ fuertehoteles was unbeatable too :)) Needless to say that I more than recommend it :)
A very nice hotel located in a lovely, old building, with all amenities close by. The surroundings are spectacular, with plenty of places to relax or have a cup of coffee outdoors. There's a swimming pool, tennis court, mini golf, etc, and several hiking trails with beautiful landscapes, where you can enjoy a refreshing breath of air. The interior of the hotel is very welcoming; there are several tiny rooms with tables and fireplaces to make you feel at home. The rooms themselves are spacious, with rich fabrics, large beds, and everything you need. Some have a wood fireplace. As for the food, well, the restaurant is good, although it has somewhat high prices. The breakfast is very good.
We stayed at Los Alamos Hotel for the second time this year. Last year it was very good, but unfortunately the food quality has dropped a lot. Nowadays it's a bit of a disaster, in need of renovations, and the service was bad. The pool at least is good if you go with the kids, but be warned that they'll be eating nothing but chips.
It is a new hotel at the entrance to the Montes Natural Park in Malaga, 5 minutes from the historic city center. There are privileged panoramic views across the city. As it's a family business you feel at home, the food is homemade and there's a menu with a wide variety of specialties at a great price. The rooms have internet access, bathroom, air conditioning, heating, television and are cozy and very comfortable. I recommend this hotel for it's good quality and price ratio.
This is the perfect place for a holiday combining two things: golf and the beach. This 4 star hotel is in a very quiet location, away from the tourist crowds. Although it's not a historical building like many other hotels, it has the oldest golf course on the Costa del Sol. The hotel is divided into three buildings around a central pool surrounded by greenery. It has a lot of wide open spaces, allowing you to enjoy the good weather of the Malaga coast. The rooms are very spacious, with modern decor, and a private terrace overlooking the golf course and the Mediterranean, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrises. The breakfast buffet is a real highlight ... gargantuan! A huge variety of food and great quality.
As I came from the Malaga train station in a taxi, the driver was telling me that I was going to be staying in one of the best hotels in the Costa del Sol. A 5 minute walk from Puerto Marina, oceanfront hotel service first, an original design, bold and modern. The rooms are complete with nice small details, there is a SPA, a buffet with show cooking and first Andalusian products (adobitos, cuttlefish, fried calamari, anchovies) and a series of terraces to unwind and forget about the problems while facing the sea, either from a lounger, pool or directly on the sand. From the best options for the Costa del Sol
These apartments stand 50 metres from one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the town (El Mirador del Bendito), and offer direct access to Burriana beach. The building has 9 apartments, all bright and large (45 m2 to 65 m2). The apartments are located near the Parador in a quiet street and you can reach the historic center with a short and pleasant walk
Since my life is no longer an adventure, I have no other choice but to dive into some wild hiking trails. One option would be: 5 kilometers of irregular paths. It's about 3 hours walking, but it has spectacular views and you'll surely get in touch with Mother Nature.
The service here is great, and the housekeeping is excellent. The daily buffet breakfast is very good, like the dinner. Downside is that the buffet is over at noon and only offers a menu that could be improved, inexplicably claim that there are not enough customers, when the truth is that fill the restaurant La Proa with clients in half or full board.
The Marconfort Griego Hotel is a three star hotel in the center of Torremolinos, a town between the cities of Malaga and Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol. The hotel is located a few steps from the center and 15 minutes from Playa Bajoncillo, one of the most famous beaches in Torremolinos. It has 414 recently-renovated rooms with contemporary, comfortable decor. The hotel offers all-inclusive service with a variety of hotel amenities including buffet restaurant, bar, cafeteria, snack bar, piano bar and a large sun terrace with a swimming pool, large lounges, meeting rooms, TV room, games room, souvenir shop and a library with books in different languages for relaxing moments.
The Hotel Barceló Málaga has direct access to the new high speed train station station and a complete business center. It's about 15 minutes from the historic center and beaches. The only downside is that it's not loser to the cathedral or calle Larios. There are 221 modern and comfortable rooms with designer furniture and magnificent views of the Mediterranean and the city. There's also 1,500 m2 of rooms that are an interesting option for business travel. There's a large metal slide that you can slide down from the top floor (if you dare to try it). It is a cutting-edge solution to stay in Malaga.
Torremolinos surprised me. The excellent climate and generally relaxed atmosphere was great, and the pool, restaurant service and spacious rooms at Apartamentos Bajondillo made for a fantastic stay. The unpretentious, European ambiance, relaxing waterfront and the marina with bars, shops and restaurants were fabulous. If I return to Torremolinos, I'll come back to this hotel.
Rio Real Golf Hotel & Wellness Resort is the best boutique hotel in Marbella. This elegant hotel offers exquisite customer service and an unforgettable golf experience. Its 29 rooms and suites are uniquely decorated with traditional influences, offering stunning views of the exclusive 11 hole golf course, located between the Sierra Blanca and the Mediterranean Sea. All the rooms are carefully furnished, and the views of the golf course from the terraces are superb. There's a spacious bathroom, with separate shower and bath, Molton Brown amenities and plush bathrobes. Each room has a TV and minibar as well as Egyptian cotton sheets on the beds. The Eagle suites are decorated in New York loft style, with bathrooms behind translucent doors, and hot tubs overlooking the golf course. The most exclusive suite in the resort is the Albatross, with a space of over 100 square metres and a gorgeous terrace.
My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to spend a few days to celebrate our anniversary. We love Malaga, which is where we decided to get married. I came across the Hostal Vidamia, with exquisite staff, service, decor and facilities. Run by a friendly couple, absolutely dedicated to their guests. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are tastefully decorated with real charm, and a personal touch. It offers reasonable prices, and cheap breakfasts, right in the centre of Malaga. Recommended.
La Posada del Angel Hotel is near the Natural Park of the Sierra de las Nieves in the centre of Ojen, Marbella. The rooms have bathroom, satellite / cable TV, direct dial telephone, internet and heating. The establishment has a bar / cafe, safe and 24 hour reception.
They sell it as a 4 * but is exaggerated. The location is ok, near the center and the AVE train station and a shopping center. 15 minutes away is calle Larios. Recommended for its low price of just 55 € per night, to see Malaga in a couple of days
I'll begin by saying that we checked into the Sol Principe at 14:30 and had to wait half an hour because the room wasn't ready. The rooms look bad...they're very small (it's almost impossible to walk around the room without bumping into the bed), the mattresses were of poor quality, and the TV was positively ancient. The phone didn't work between rooms and it's impossible to sleep with the air conditioning running because of the noise it makes. There's not much variety on the restaurant menu (a lot of pasta, rice, frozen pizza and burgers). The staff do what they can, but it's just plain bad. The wifi costs 20 euros for one week.
The pools are good, but the ground around them is very slippery and dangerous. If you go, then at least save yourself a bad experience and just choose the breakfast buffet. We had booked dinner here for 12 days, and it was horrible.
This hotel is in the center, just in front of the Cathedral. The rooms overlook calle Bolsa or calle Molina Lario that have spectacular views of the cathedral or the port. Ask for rooms on the top floors. On the roof there's a swimming pool that every Thursday to Saturday night between May and September becomes a chic bar. It serves cocktails and has a lively atmosphere. When it's good weather, breakfasts are served on the cozy outdoor patio. A good choice in the city of Malaga.
If you are looking for a hotel that really pays attention to the little details, with a modern design and striking colours (red, black and white), the Hotel del Pintor is for you. Here the characteristics of a conventional hotel are mixed with art, and with paintings scattered throughout. This creates a unique, edgy style. In addition to the decoration and art, the hotel has a 24-hour reception, daily housekeeping, parking, organic breakfast which can be served in the room without a surcharge, private bathroom, free wifi in the rooms, laundry service, information, free walking tour...
I didn't personally know this hotel. It wasn't one that first caught my attention since the people that usually go there are mainly golfers or people with money and I'm not part of either group, so it wasn't to my liking. But for different reasons I ended up staying there and the truth is I was enthralled, without doubt I'll go back and not that they've just opened their spa, I'm definitely going back. Hotel rooms Westin La Quinta are amazing, there are different categories, I was in a so-called Deluxe Pool View and loved. On site facilities are truly wonderful, from the magnificent reception where exhibitors have luxury items such as handbags by Channel or tie by Loewe to shoes and handbags, through its three outdoor pools are huge and super quiet and ending in a snack bar, the staff are attentive and prepare the best cocktails in Marbella.
