Palma de Mallorca Private Tapas Tour

Your private tapas tour will begin at Plaza España in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. During this culinary journey, you'll visit five of the Mallorcan capital's best tapas bars to sample a variety of delicious local delicacies. At each bar, your private guide will explain the house specialties and advise you on the best tapas to order. Each tapa will come accompanied by a glass of beer, wine or Spanish vermouth (soft drinks and water also available).

Throughout the tapas crawl, you'll get off the tourist trail and visit local favorites that formed part of the Ruta Martiana (literally, the Tuesday Route), a local initiative starred during the financial crisis of the 2000's to attract guests to local restaurants. Every Tuesday, the city's best bars and restaurants would offer one delicious and reasonably-priced tapa and drink to encourage locals to once again go out to eat. What was the result of hard economic times has now blossomed into one of the city’s favorite traditions and is available throughout the week.

By the end of the tour, you'll have tasted a variety of delicious Mallorcan tapas, but most of all you’ll have learned that the Ruta Martiana is about more than just food. It's a beloved local tradition that lets you discover new bars and restaurants, meet new people and try unique local Mallorcan specialties made with love and care.
