What to expect

At 10:00, you’ll meet your guide to begin this full-day tour of Madrid’s three most important museums: the Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen-Bornemisza. These three incredible museums together form the Golden Triangle of Art and rank among the most visited museums in Spain.

You’ll begin the day with a guided tour of the Prado Museum. This historic museum boasts the world’s greatest collection of Spanish masters and is among the most visited museums in the world. You’ll enjoy quick access to the museum and a guided tour of its most important works such as "Charles IV of Spain and His Family" or "The Third of May 1808" by Goya, "Las Meninas" by Velázquez, "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch and other works by masters like Rafael, Rubens or Rembrandt.

After the visit to the Prado museum, you’ll have the chance to rest your feet with a drink and a tapa at a local restaurant.

After the break, you’ll cross the street to visit the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. This museum offers a journey from the history of European art and boasts a collection which ranges from early Gothic sculpture to Impressionist paintings.
